We all know the milestones of our children growing up. Their first smile (no it wasn't gas), first word, first step, first bike ride, and etc.
Well any farmer has those milestones in the corn crop that they look for anxiously. One is "Can you row the corn yet". That is when looking down the row of seedlings emerging from the ground you see the green line of the plants one after another. Well we just got an inch of rain overnight and with the warm weather I can now row the corn. Farmers are lucky we get to experience this thrill every year. The next milestone is "The row is shaded" that is when looking down the row no dirt is visible between rows and the field is solid dark green. These are some of the blessings we know God gives us.
