Leland churches:  Suydam United Methodist, Bethany Lutheran, and Leland United Methodist.  Plano: First Lutheran,  Hinckley: First United Methodist,  Shabbona:  United church of Christ,  Aurora:  St. Mark's Lutheran, and Our Savior Lutheran
Palatine:  All Saints Lutheran,  Arlington Heights:  Christian Church of Arlington Heights,
Cristal Lake:  Living Waters Lutheran.  If I have missed any please let me know or if you are a member of an area church that wants more information you can e-mail me at deanlundeen@gmail.com

We also welcome the Ottawa Barrington growing project as they join us this year at the joint harvest cellebration.  They are the Ottawa Trinity Lutheran and The Barrington United Methodist Churches.

Thank You to the readers and churches for your prayers for the crops and farmers.  The weather has finally turned cooler and some rain has helped the soybean crop.  On my farm I expect to get 40 bu. beans or more if weather remains favorable.  I have had to spray for spider mites that harm soybeans on dry years, and my beans look good now.  I'm still predicting 120 bu. for my corn and that will be better than most of the corn belt. See the latest drought map below and note that more areas are involved we need widespread replacement of 18 inches of rain for next years crop as this year is already nearing maturity.  US Drought Monitor, August 14, 2012
