Tomorrow Oct. 13th is the harvest celebration we hold every year. Planning is done and preparations are underway. It is advertised as rain or shine. This year it will SHINE.
We celebrate that God's grace does SHINE upon us.
We will band together as Christians and SHINE his light around the world.
There is a chance of rain later in the day and we will also celebrate that because without rain we would not have a harvest to celebrate. We thank God for the rain and shine he brings our crops. You may want to bring your rain hat for the ride home and join us in the SHINE at the Larson Farm one mile west of route 23 south and route 34 west from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. There will be plenty of activities and fellowship regardless of weather.
On my farm every field of corn is producing better than the last and I am pleased that the total will be much better than I had projected. It is always harder to project when there is so much variance within a field as this year.
Serving Together, Dean
